The important mountain touristic centre Horni Misecky is located 1 000 m above sea level. There are many recreation objects in Horni Misecky, for example Jilemnicka bouda. Mountains street leads from Dolni Stepanice across Horni Misecky to the Vrbata´s Chalet. The educational trail Elbe Sources ends right here. The mountain centre Horni Misecky lies north of the village Vitkovice and west of Spindleruv Mlyn. The place is convenient for family holiday thanks its quiet atmosphere. There are ski slopes of all levels for beginners and advanced skiers here. All pistes in Horni Misecky and Medvedin are equipped with a snow-making syste.

The Giant Mountains centre Horni Misecky in quiet part in village Vitkovice 1.000 m above sea level. The centre is convenient for family holiday. The four-chair lift Medvedin (the top upper station is 1270 m above sea level) is ideal connection between Horni Misecky and Spindleruv Mlyn. Downhill routes are of all diffilculty levels for advanced skiers and for beginners. Fallowing facilities are available: snowboard park, snowboard school and snowtubing track for children as well as for adults.Upper stations of both cableways are not only setting-off points of touristic routes they offer nice views of the Giant Mountains ridges incl. the highest mountain of the Czech Republic – Snezka (1602 m). The chair lift Medvedin – summer operation daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The possibility of bicycle transport. Medvedin - Horni Misecky: unique place for cycling and hiking routes on ridges of the Giant Mountains and to the Elbe river spring. Beautiful views from the Zlate navrsi to ridges, Snezka Mountain and Bohemian Paradise.
