Ski centre Janske Lazne

Janske Lazne is an important spa town and sports centre, gate to the east Giant Mountains. Ski centre Cerna hora - Janske Lazne comes through a dynamic development today. Within the categorization of ski resorts in the Czech republic, Janske Lazne belongs together with Spindluv Mlyn, Pec pod Snezkou and Rokytnice nad Jizerou to the 5-stars resorts.Terrains for downhill skiing are situated on the southern and south-eastern slopes of Cerna and neighbouring Svetla Mountain. Skiers can use 2 cablecars and 12 ski lifts of different types and lengths. The ski centre is equipped with ski slopes3 km long which belong to the longest in the Czech republic. Main downhill slopes are equipped with artificial snow-making machines. Skiing terrains are suitable also for families with children. There are 50 km prepared cross-country routes and 3,5 km long sledge route „Cernohorska sankarska cesta".
