Lookout tower Cerna hora

The top of Cerna hora - Black mountain lies 1299 m above sea level. The mountain is situated above the spa town Janske Lazne. The cableway connects the town with the top of Cerna mountain and was built in 1928. This cableway was in operation till 1981 when was the cableway reconstructed. Only the second last supporting pillar was left from the old cableway and rebuilt as a lookout tower. It has been open since 1998. The lookout tower offers beautiful views to the Giant Mountains.
Since 12.8.2006 is in operation new modern cabin cableway - Cernohorsky express.
