Ski area Strazne

Skiarea Strážné is a modern ski resort, location 800 m above sea level, 6 km from Vrchlabí direction to Špindlerův Mlýn. Our area is equipped with four down hill tracks of all levels of difficulty from blue to black. The check-in system has a reader of chip cards. We offer a wide range of tickets for our visitors, starting with a single ticket to a full season skipass.

For our smallest visitors we have prepared children ski lift "string" and a very gentle training slope at the close neighbourhood of a blue ski slope.

For other sport activities of our visitors we have prepared snowtubing, freestyle snowpark with lighting for evening skiing or winter horse rides.

For the lovers of ski running or skialpinism there is an ideal starting point for the ridge hike for example to the highest point of the Czech Republic - Snežka. The running tracks starting in Strážné are connected to the Giant Mountain ski track.
All ski slopes are maintained twice a day with a snowmobile trail groomer, ski running tracks are maintained twice a week in case of a snow calamity more often. Approximately 50 % of ski slopes are snow covered artificially and litten!!

Opening hours of ski lifts: from 9:00 to 16:30, evening skiing from 18:30 to 21:00.
There are available 2473 beds for our visitors, they are disposed in the private accommodation facilities of a different levels of price, from the rooming houses to the luxury apartments equipped with saunas and whirpools. There are two parking places for our guests equipped with camera system and under 24 hours control. Within the improving of our services we have equipped the entrance systems to this parking places with software accepting so called congress cards for long time parking with the possibility of repeated entrance and departure without communication with the parking operator.

In the upper station of ski lift Kotva there is a new restaurant with a winter terrace and a view over the ski slope, further on there is a multimedia snack bar with high speed internet connection. If you come to Strážné, you will not be bored.
