The village of Vítkovice v Krkonoích is situated in the District of Semily, East Bohemia, 683 metres above the sea level. The skiing centre Aldrov provides excellent conditions for beginners as well as experienced skiers.
There are two ski lifts in the centre of Vítkovice - Aldrov, both of them 700 m long, overcoming the elevation of 132 m. The pistes are fitted with snow-guns. Night skiing and refreshment is provided for.
Suitable conditions for cross-country skiing. Short machine-groomed trails are situated above the Aldrov skiing area, providing the point of departure to Rezek, Dvoračky and the ridges of the Giant Mountains (in the northerly direction). Cross-country trails for expert skiers are to be found on the ridge between Horní Mísečky and Přední alý. The Hucul farm offers horse-riding services to the visitors, holding mountain trips on horsebacks for experienced riders and sleigh rides in winter.
