Opening of the Kuks chateau - Dvur Kralove nad Labem - Kuks
KUKS - Tourists could visit castles and chateaus firstly after the winter break. The Baroque chateau - hospice welcomed tens of tourists. First guests walked here on Saturday. Except of the indoor exposition, guests walked through the park and admired Braun´s statues.
The total number of visitors of the Baroque complex was about one hundred and fifty.
Crypt was re-opened
Visitors can see again the crypt of the count Spork after few years. Till this time it was open only in extraordinary cases like is for example festival Teatrum Kuks. Now, it is possible to visit the underground places several times in a day.
New exposition in a years - The complex does not prepare any new exposition this zdar. Castellan Libor Svec said „We extend a part devoted to construction work and to the life of the count´s family. We would like to open it next year.„ Interesting is installation of the clock-work to the tower. We can hear the regular ringing again. Reconstruction of the facade continues. This year, restorers are going to repair the west Rokoko wing.
