Pec pod Snezkou – Eight-seat funicular to Snezka Mountain will go in the same corridor as the contemporary. The lane from Pec to Ruzova Mountain will be longer. "Inhabitants of Pec want to remove the departure station to the object Lesovna, closer to the town centre“, said the director of the Giant Mountains National Park management – Jiri Novak.

KUKS - Tourists could visit castles and chateaus firstly after the winter break. The Baroque chateau - hospice welcomed tens of tourists. First guests walked here on Saturday. Except of the indoor exposition, guests walked through the park and admired Braun´s statues.

New common skipass has been introduced by five ski centres in the western Giant Mountains this year - Harrachov, Rokytnice nad Jizeru, Paseky nad Jizerou and Prichovice. Advantages can use especially skiers who stay here more days and skiing in one ski area is boring for them.

The tourist discount card started to valid in the region of the Northern Bohemia, Bohemian Paradise and Giant Mountains in the last summer season. Visitors can buy it for example in some of information centres for CZK 35 and they have discounts even of 50% especially for sport activities or entrance fees to cultural facilities.
