The important mountain touristic centre Horni Misecky is located 1 000 m above sea level. There are many recreation objects in Horni Misecky, for example Jilemnicka bouda. Mountains street leads from Dolni Stepanice across Horni Misecky to the Vrbata´s Chalet. The educational trail Elbe Sources ends right here. The mountain centre Horni Misecky lies north of the village Vitkovice and west of Spindleruv Mlyn. The place is convenient for family holiday thanks its quiet atmosphere. There are ski slopes of all levels for beginners and advanced skiers here. All pistes in Horni Misecky and Medvedin are equipped with a snow-making syste.
The first mountain chalet was built in Horni Misecky in 1642. Nowadays, you can find the rest of mullock tip from the mineral research in the half of the 20th century here.
