Opening of the season: 17 November 2017
Skiing is currently possible in the ski resort of Černá hora, about 4 km of ski slopes are available. The cabin cable car runs from 8:30 to 16:00. The slopes are currently 40-50 cm of snow. Skiing for special fare 500 CZK / adult, 400 CZK / junior, senior and 300 CZK / child. A cross-country ski area of at least 10 km is prepared for weekend 2 - 3.
News for this season:
A new four-seater chairlift is planned in Černý Důl. She replaced the shorter and older three-seater and offers skiing on longer slopes. A mile-long journey by cable car takes less than 3.5 minutes. The cable car surpasses an altitude of 235 meters. The adjacent extended slopes are 1050 meters new, the new Vyhlídková ski slope is 850 meters long. The new ski slope will also be opened in Pec pod Sněžkou. It is 600 meters long and the skiers get to it from the upper lifts on the Javor. Between Pec pod Snezkou, Janske Lazne and Černý Dole, a fast ski bus known as SkiTour Express will be used, which will reduce the transport time by one third.

Traditional opening of the winter season in Skindal Spindleruv Mlyn. A rich accompanying program is waiting for you. Children can enjoy competitions, a bouncy castle with a slide, games and presents. Adults can enjoy ABBA STARS, Janek Ledecký & Band concerts, Las Vegas, or a new film from Spindl. After dark, there will be the first SNOW SHOW season (Star Wars laser show, ski instructors' exhibition, showcases and scooters, fire show) and a whole new film by Spindl. The whole day will be accompanied by the pleasant atmosphere associated with the arrival of the new season and the advantageous weekend skiing - three days for the price of one!
News for this season
New four-seater chairlift from Horní Míseček to Medvědín. In St. Peter it was replaced by a more modern six-seater chairlift on Plan. The four-seater has undergone a complete renovation. Some parts have been replaced with new ones. The site also has landscapes. Existing downhill runs have been expanded. The popular Machytka ski slope increases in the upper and lower parts. Overall, its area is increased by 1.5 hectares. The original ski lifts M, M1 and M2 will remain, only Machytka lift will be removed.
At the top of Pláň this year will grow Ledarium, which you can visit for free. This year will be the theme of Star Wars.

A new feature for this season is the opening of a ski-center with rental equipment. He recommends five routes for skiers and offers a guide. There is also a new children's lift - carpet - at the lower station of the Upper Domky cable car.
