The Championship of the Czech Republic (FIS Czech Cup) in downhill skiing takes place in Špindlerův Mlýn from March 24 to 26. Competitors should be seen on the Svatý Petr - Červená and Stoh ski slope. Everything depends on the current epidemiological situation. The races should be broadcast on television via ČT Sport and livestream on the Internet.
Alpine skiing has, of course, also been part of the Winter Olympics since 1936. The first World Championships took place five years earlier. The first World Cup in downhill skiing then took place in 1966.
