The days of the European heritage means that you can visit the historic sights free of charge and there is also accompanying program. This year there is a topic for this action “The historic sights in the new light”. There is a sightseeing of the Old City Hall, people can visit the Haas´ Palace or the Museum of Podrkonoší in Trutnov. You can visit artillery fortress Stachlberg, underground corridor in the park, Janská chapel, and the monument of the general Gablenz. There will be also two actions on the 7th of September – since 10a.m.there is an Opening ceremony joined with painting of the memorial plaque 1866 on the Krakonoš square. Since 3p.m. there will be the action „Saying goodbye to summer“ near the monument of the general Gablenz on the hill Šibenik. This year will be the new action for adults and older children „Sightseeing in the evening“ There will be the programe in the railway yard in Trutnov. You can see the different locomotives, motor cars, mechanisms for the maintance of the railways and components of the rail vehicles.. There will be also the ride of the steam trains.
